- Cancel any time. Your projects stay readable, and you can clone them.

- Paddle handles payments as our merchant of record. It takes the payment, charges any tax that applies, and sends the invoices.

Who do I pay for?
Each person who can write to your team’s projects, counted once however many of those projects they write to. Someone you invite counts only once they join.
Readers, clients and agents join free, on any plan. A reader can open everything in the project and leave notes.
What happens when I start a second project on Free?
Free keeps one project active. To start another, archive the active one: everyone on it can still open, read, clone and download it, and it can be active again whenever there is room. Or move the team to Solo or Team, which have any number of projects.
What happens when the team’s agent use runs out?
The agent in the app pauses until next month. On Solo and Team, whoever sets the team’s budgets can raise the team budget to keep it going. Budgets can also be set for each project and each person.
Use above the included amount is billed at the model’s list price plus 10%. On a monthly plan it goes on the next invoice. On a yearly plan it is charged once it reaches $20, or with the renewal if that is due within 35 days.
Working from your own AI never counts. Nor does the app’s own upkeep, such as naming a conversation, or a request that failed.
Do I need to pay for Alcoven to use it from Claude, ChatGPT or Codex?
Working from your own AI costs nothing on any plan, Free included, because we run no model for it. Free’s limits still hold: one active project and up to five people writing.
Clone the project with git into a folder for Claude Code, Codex or any coding agent, and push what it changes. Or add the project’s link to an AI app that speaks MCP, such as Claude, or ChatGPT on plans that let you add an MCP tool. Your AI’s own subscription stays separate.
Can I cancel, and what happens to the project?
Yes, any time. An owner or an admin cancels in the app, and the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. Use above the included amount that has not been invoiced yet is not charged.
Then the team moves to Free: the project used most recently stays active, and the others are archived. You can still read, clone and download every project, and when the team pays again, the projects archived by the move to Free are active again.
Is my project used to train anything?
We don’t train models. The agent in the app runs on Amazon Bedrock, and AWS says that neither AWS nor the model providers use what goes into or comes out of Bedrock to train any model (Amazon Bedrock FAQs). When you work from your own AI, that tool’s own terms apply. The privacy policy has the details.
Do you charge in lira?
Prices and payments are in US dollars. If your card is in lira or another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate. Any tax for your country is shown at checkout, before you pay.
