A git repository for the rest of the work.
The brief, the specs, the meeting notes and the tasks live in one project that Claude Code and Codex clone like any repository. Your product and design people work in the app, in Claude, or in ChatGPT on its Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, and what they change is in your next pull.
One project and up to five people writing to it, free. No card.
Or set it up with us on a callHow it goes today.
The relay
The spec lives in a doc. Someone pastes it into the prompt or into CLAUDE.md, and it goes stale the day the doc changes.
The old plan
The agent builds from last week’s plan, because this week’s was agreed in a meeting.
The second answer
The designer can’t open the repository, so the developer answers the same question twice.
What changes.
Clone it, pull it, push to it.
Every project is a git remote. What an agent pushes goes on the project under the name of the person it works for.
git clone https://app.alcoven.co/git/your-project.gitInstructions every agent reads.
AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md say how to work in the project: how tasks are kept, who looks after what, what to read first. Alcoven keeps its own section of AGENTS.md current.
Your code repository, linked.
Someone who manages the project links a GitHub repository into it. It stays on GitHub, everyone on the project can read it in Alcoven, and a widget can count its commits, merged pull requests and releases.
Tasks as files.
Each task is a Markdown file in tasks/: open or done, for whom, due when. An agent closes one by changing a line and pushing.
The answer to a push.
When you push, Alcoven answers on the command line: what went on the project, who else looks after the files you changed, and your new next step when you close the one you had.
How it works.
- 1
Bring your project in.
The brief, Word and PDF files, a whole folder, Google Docs linked from Google Drive, or a GitHub repository.
- Brief
- Kiln brand guide.pdf
- Interview notes.docx
- kiln-sitelinked from GitHub
- 2
Open it from your AI.
Add Alcoven to Claude, or to ChatGPT on its Business, Enterprise and Edu plans. Or clone the project for Claude Code and Codex. Each person uses their own AI, or the app.

Your AI’s edits are saved to the project.
Edit a document or add a task from your AI, and your name is on it. Your teammate’s AI reads it the next time it opens the project.

Working from your own AI costs nothing extra on any plan, because we run no model for it.
Free for one project.
You pay for the people who write; anyone who only reads joins free.
Questions.
Anything else, write to info@alcoven.co.
Does it replace our code repository?
Your code stays on GitHub. Link the repository into the project, and the specs and the code sit side by side.
Which agents work with it?
Any agent that uses git, such as Claude Code and Codex. Claude, and ChatGPT on its Business, Enterprise and Edu plans, open the project through Alcoven’s MCP address.
Can some folders stay closed to some people?
Yes. ACCESS.md at the top of the project says what differs from the default, and a closed folder isn’t in that person’s clone.
